Why the UltraHome Premium compared other systems?
Simple. It’s what is on the inside the counts. Other cheap and inferior systems use Granulated activated carbon. Essentially like what is inside a Brita filter. How do I install the Premium System?
The Premium system should be installed and maintained by a licensed, bonded contractor. Here are instructions meant to serve as a basic guide to installation. Note: individual installation needs may vary and should be determined by a licensed, bonded contractor.
Do I need to change my filters and if so, how?
The Premium will run for an incredible 1,000,000 gallons or 10 years and the sediment filter replaces annually - depending on your usage and water quality. When you purchase the replacement media, we ship everything you need to do the replacement including easy to follow to instructions.
What is the warranty on the UltraHome Premium System?
If you have NOT used any product, and if you have NOT broken the manufacturer’s seal on the box, you can return the products within 30 days of purchase for a full refund less shipping cost. If you have broken the manufacturer’s seal or used the product in any way, you may return the product (exceptions are consumables, books and DVDs which are never refundable), subject to a 15% restocking charge within 30 days of purchase. The original shipping charges will not be refunded and return shipping charges must be prepaid by the purchaser.
The Warranty for products as listed in this heading is one year. This warranty covers all parts and 100% of labor costs due to manufacturing defects only. Customer is responsible for shipping costs both ways unless unit is bad out of the box and returned within 30 days of purchase. The warranty expressly excludes damage caused by environmental factors including (but not limited to) mineral build-up due to hard water or high levels of iron or poor source water quality.
Since the UltraHome whole house systems do not remove minerals, do we need to add anything to help my ionizer to perform
No - unless you have super soft source water with low minerals - you do not need any additional minerals. Our UltraHome whole house systems are designed to work with all of our ionizers.
Does the system require electricity to operate?
One of the great things about this system is it does not require electricity to operate unlike other systems. Others require (a plumber to perform) a reset if your power fails.
Does my water need testing prior to installation for any reason?
If you are on treated water, it is regulated to meet certain water quality standards, and our whole home filtration systems are designed to work within these standards. If you are on a private water supply like a well or catchment system you should have the water analyzed first. If you own your home, you should have a well report. We offer a few testing options including one for hardness and can help you organize testing. Our WQA Experts will analyze your results. We can design / build a custom system to meet any unique need or concern.
How do I find out the maximum PSI in my home, so I can make sure the system will work?
The system is engineered to work in water pressure between 20pst to 120psi. It will work in virtually any home’s water pressure.
